Master’s Degree
The next step after the bachelor’s degree is the master’s degree, which leads to a master’s degree. It is only possible to do this at a university.
Master’s degree can take up to two years to be completed. The education system is similar to the Bachelor’s degree, but the complexity and intensity of study is much higher. The degree of individuality and autonomy of study increases as well. To complete a master’s degree the student defends a thesis.

There are two main types of master’s programs: professional master’s programs and “academic” master’s programs, which aim to continue graduate study and further academic activities. The latter emphasize participation in scholarly research.
About the Cost of a U.S. Graduate School
There is a cost to attend graduate programs in the U.S.. Costs vary considerably from institution to institution, but in general they are the same as or slightly less expensive than undergraduate programs, and the chances of finding funding are much greater.
